Prosperous Wedding Planning Tips

Prosperous Wedding Planning Tips for a Happy, Bride & Groom to Be!Happy Bride & Groom We just wanted to take a moment to share just a bit of information to keep in mind while planning your big day; some prosperous wedding planning tips to help create a successful, stress-free, memorable wedding day. The wedding day event is the beginning of your new life with another so let’s make sure to start off on the right foot. Check out these tips to start you on your way to a healthy and thriving relationship with your future spouse. Communication is key. Listen to what your future spouse is saying… and not saying. Are there strong feelings for or against a particular idea? Talk it out. When planning your special day, make sure your decisions have your future spouse’s interests in mind. Don’t push your intended out of their comfort zone. Remember, the day is about the commitment that both of you are making to each other. When it comes to customizing your wedding, forget the trends and let your heart guide the way.  Maybe you want a little classic, with a little vintage and a little rock and roll. Don’t be distracted by what someone else did for their day. Be you. Do you.  That is what your guests will remember and say, “that wedding was so like them.” The day does not have to be perfect to be beautiful and wonderful. There will be hiccups here and there and some things will be out of your control. Plan for the things you can and don’t fret over things that you can’t. Rain may fall but that doesn’t mean that the day is ruined. Take advantage of the photo opportunity.

  1. First, I absolutely love black and white photos with color.

These tips are on point, especially the tip about not focusing on trends. Eventually, trends fade away, but the classics and elements that are special to the bride and groom, stand the test of time. And I love the rain tip too, the last wedding I worked on, it rained on the wedding day, but the bride took the opportunity for fab shots!

  2. Greetings,
I love the photos used in this post! Yes, a wedding does not have to be perfect to be wonderful, things will happen that are out of the bride’s control. I agree with the most important aspect is that at the end of the day 2 become 1! :-) great tips & advice!

  3. Hiring a planner is key! I know since we’re planners we have to say that but when I’m at an event and something goes wrong I ask “what would have happened if I wasn’t here?” The bride would have been stressed! Great post!

  4. I was just listening to a wedding story with a bunch of diasters and things that could have been avoided while planning. Of course they didn’t have a planner or a coordinator. The whole time I was hearing the story I couldn’t help but to think…. I would’ve done this… or that. LOL. Yes communication and having a planner is the key.

  5. Love the tips and also can’t help but agree with all of the comments on here as well! Especially Katrina. That always happens to me when I read different posts from brides or hear their stories also. I can’t help it!
